I have a 2 year old reverse brindle boxer.

What a silly dog... He sure loves to play with other dogs but, I find it has been tough finding other dog friends that are not too rough or rowdy.

We take him to a great road that connects to powerlines that go for miles close to Oakfield Park. Awesome place to walk for miles off leash!

Nice dog!!

I used to have 2 dogs at a certain time... a big old Rotty which was probably the meanest looking thing that ever walked this earth, but would cuddle up with the cats and run around like a reindeer with the other dogs at the park. Then my little pup.. who was pretty much the exact opposite.

I'll have to dig up some pictures somewhere.

Cute dog, Holly! My dog Dylan likes to play, but he doesn't like it getting physical at all. He really just likes to chase and be chased. That's as far as he takes it.

Here's pics of Dylan below. Kind of a weird story how I got him. I know he's part Chiuaua, but his face is a bit more mature looking that your typical chiuaua, so he might be a mix. Not sure.

Hey love the dogs!

I'll have to post mine when I get a chance.

What is your favorite spot to take your dogs?

I also have a boxer =D

Your dogs are all cute! But you know, so many people are AFRAID of other dogs bothering theirs, that they transmit their fear to the dogs. Really, dogs can usually work it out themselves - that's why it's called "socialization". And they can do it all by themselves, even if they're wild! Dogs are pre-programmed to be friendly - what a concept! By being too protective or reactive yourself, you are actually restricting and handicapping your dog, who likely isn't that bothered by the other dogs at all. Alright, you have to keep an eye on things, as there is the rare really nasty dog, or the overly enthusiastic one who mistakenly hurts a smaller dog - but if you learn to read dogs' body language, you can tell when things are getting risky before it gets bad. (Most people with really nasty dogs don't take them to a dog park.) At Seaview, most people are regulars, they know all the dogs, can advise you and get you out of trouble if necessary - and they have good dogs. However, other kinds of places are fun for dogs, too - but nothing takes the place of good socialization, for you AND your dog! Take it easy, and have fun!

P.S. What's a UCP and how do I get a signature?

Hey there, thanks for you input, sound advice =)

Likely the UCP is the user control panel, and within there you can add a signature. (On the top left) If that is what you are asking ;) You guys need to add avatars! actually.. so do I lol
