So..
As of April 22, Superstore will be charging *.05 cents per bag unless you bring your own bag.
I don't know if I am 100% sold on the fact that the fabric bags are any better for the environment, I've never seen actual proof or studies that show it is? Like, how environmentally friendly is the process to produce those bags? Are those bags 100% recyclable? Where are they importing the bags from, are Canadians at plastic plants losing jobs because of it?
I also am not sure that Superstore selling the *.99 cent fabric bags are really reasonable, should they be marketing their own bags or should they be marketing someone elses? I can by different brand names of jams, but why do I need to by Superstores own fabric bag? What if I'd like to buy a cheaper alternative?...
